With the Miatech Bio Turbo Air Cleaner, you ensure that produce ripens more slowly while being transported or stored in the warehouse. When storing fruits and vegetables, in addition to controlling temperature and humidity, it is important to remove pathogens and ethylene from the air.
This powerful air cleaner from Miatech removes ethylene gas and bacteria from the air. By removing this from the air, the ripening process is inhibited.
The Miatech Bio Turbo Air Cleaner helps keep produce fresh!

Ethylene Gas
Ethylene is a natural plant hormone that is odorless and colorless. This hormone affects the development of plants, vegetables and fruits. It is important for growth, but too much ethylene causes damage. A surplus leads to overripe fruits and vegetables that are no longer marketable.
This air cleaner is specially designed to protect fruits and vegetables from premature ripening. Ethylene gas passes through the air purifier and the air purifier filters the air and blows out clean air.
For maintenance of the Miatech Bio Turbo Air Purifier, we have the matching
Bio Turbo maintenance kit.
Prevent cross contamination
Vegetables and fruits can become contaminated with germs and bacteria. This air purifier prevents cross-contamination and keeps produce healthy in a container. The Bio-Turbo treats the air in four phases:
Stage 1: Air Filter
The air filter removes dust and visual particles from the air.
PHASE 2: Pathogens eliminated
In this phase, pathogens are eliminated. With an efficiency of 99.5%+, this process stops their normal life development, destroying the pathogens.
PHASE 3: Ethylene and Bacteria Removal
This stage is used to eliminate ethylene gas through ozone.
PHASE 4: Ozone converted to oxygen.
In this final stage, a catalyst is used to convert the ozone into clean oxygen. The catalyst creates a reaction that breaks down the ozone molecule. From here, the clean oxygen is released back into the environment.
